How To Be Successful During The Pandemic

As an ambitious and highly competent individual, you will have high aspirations long after sars-cov-2 has become as commonplace as the flu each winter. Even if that’s not possible due to decrease in earnings or short-term setbacks, ensuring that this happens before during and after any crisis will give you a much better opportunity to focus on work that can add value. • Health – you know what you need to do and you know the benefits. Diet, sleep, cardio, strength training and any sports, all help.
• Old contacts – As senior leaders, you have an opportunity to reach out to those old contacts and clients who by now could be very senior indeed. Don’t worry so much time has passed, just try.
• New Contacts – This is an excellent time to create NEW relationships, people are willing to talk
• Strategy – Consider any slight organisational tweaks or renewed focuses on areas where there may be opportunities, there are a lot of winners right now despite everything that is happening. What will your business look like in 1 year, its tough to know exactly, but how are you going to get there
• Mentor – ensure that if you don’t have one, that you get one! Complaining to a friend or family member over a beer is not going to get you where you want to be. You need someone who really understands and gives you very clear, step by step advice on how you can get better 
• Read – make time for it. It’s never been cheaper or easier to access, at the click of a button, someone’s entire life time’s work for less than cost of a drink at a bar.
• Enjoy your time with your family, it’s a once in a life time opportunity!
